We are a family who loves God, where boys and girls can find the warmth of a home and the emotional support they greatly need. Our goal is to give the children of Casa Hogar these tools and life skills:
OUR MISSION:
SHOWING GOD'S LOVE AS A FATHER TO THE FATHERLESS, SEEING CHILDREN'S LIVES CHANGED BY THIS LOVE AND THEN SENDING THESE CHILDREN OUT TO SERVE THE REST OF THE WORLD. OUR SOCIAL GOAL:
TO ASSIST CHILDREN FROM 3 TO 18 YEARS OF AGE WHO ARE OR HAVE BEEN ABANDONED WITHOUT FINANCIAL AND MORAL SUPPORT FROM THEIR PARENTS AND FAMILY. OUR COMMITMENT:
TO CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT THAT WILL ALLOW OUR CHILDREN UPON LEAVING US TO BECOME COMPLETELY INTEGRATED INTO SOCIETY AND BECOME QUALITY HUMAN BEINGS. TO GIVE THEM AN EXPERIENCE THAT WILL ALLOW THEM TO CONTINUE TO PRACTICE THE PRINCIPLES THEY HAVE LEARNED AND TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE WELL-BEING OF THEIR COMMUNITIES. |
Short history about usIn 1995 the Lord opened the door for us to come here to Chihuahua, Mexico. It was a dream come true. It has been the most beautiful, exciting and dynamic experience to be mom and dad to these hurting children, watching the Lord heal their hearts and change their lives. In the last twelve years we have seen three university graduates and eight of our children now attending universities. These are young people who never had any dreams in their lives. It has been a thrill and satisfaction watching these young people jumping with excitement, hugging, and thanking us for helping them accomplish their dreams. In 2010 the Lord open the doors for us to start an extension in the mountains of Chihuahua working with the Tarahumara Indians. In 2011 Rosa won the Award of Women of the Year in City of Chihuahua.
