We are a family who loves God, where boys and girls can find the warmth of a home and the emotional support they greatly need. Our goal is to give the children these tools and life skills:
OUR MISSION:
To be a home for girls, boys, and adolescents from the state of Chihuahua whose rights have been infringed upon, where they are shown the love of God the Father through comprehensive care filled with affection, respect, spirituality, and love, with the goal of healing their hearts, transforming their lives, and becoming citizens who contribute positively to society. OUR VISION:
To be a reliable, safe, and professional Christian home, with a replicable, creative, and innovative intervention model that positively impacts the lives of children and adolescents in the state of Chihuahua through their comprehensive development, based on Christian values, moral, and spiritual principles, with the goal of forging a family bond, thus forming a citizenry that contributes positively to society and can influence public policies, contributing to the restoration of their rights. OUR COMMITMENT:
Our primary commitment is to safeguard children and adolescents in vulnerable situations, providing a safe place where they can receive their daily sustenance in terms of food, housing, clothing, and education, where they will find a healthy and respectful environment appropriate for any family, so that they can lay the foundation for a socially integrated personality, all founded on the love and tolerance necessary for their physical, mental, and spiritual recovery. |
Short history about usIn 1995, the Lord opened the door for us to come here to Chihuahua, Mexico. It was a dream come true. It has been the most beautiful, exciting, and worthwhile experience to be caregivers to these vulnerable children; watching the Lord heal their hearts and change their lives. Several of the children have grown up with us and even went off to college. We currently have one teenager going to a local college. She's studying graphic design. These are young people who never had any dreams in their lives. It has been a thrill and satisfaction watching these young people full of excitement and thanking us for helping them accomplish their dreams. In 2023, Frank Agundes took over the directorship of the children's home. Ed and Rosa, the founders, still live on site. They are now retired.
